F2F...

Wow, what a crazy week and this one doesn’t seem to be abating!


We have been working like mad, not usual for us. Not that we don’t work, just that we attend “formal work” in the morning and usually do other work in the afternoon. By other work I mean, work relating to being able to leave as planned, cataloguing all our belongings, listing them for sale, downloading all our CD’s onto our laptops, updating our website etc. As well as working on our investment portfolio and properties. But this week we have not even got to those other things, so I am stealing a little “formal work” time to post this today.

I managed to get hold of ICASA this morning, seems Zondra is no longer doing the licences, we must now deal with Keneilwe, she seemed very helpful this morning so lets hold thumbs :) Got a booking for the 14th August! Back to hitting the books again!

We didn’t get up to much this last weekend because we worked for most of it, once again formal work takes priority. We did however, managed to get some more pictures of the house to prep for the rental so that is a good sign. We also managed to replace the tenant in our other property and so far so good…. rentals can be pain at times.

Anyway hoping to be able to do a little sailing shortly, booked to take a friend on 8th August so that is a definite date if nothing else. We also have the Johannesburg boat show on the 15th and 16th August, which we want to attend. Hoping to get some life jackets on a “show special” and just love to look at all the cool boat gadgets on display.


Otherwise not much to tell this week, hope the crisis management at work slows coz’ I’m not sure Barry’s heart can take much more. He keeps saying he’ll be dead before we leave at this rate and I’m inclined to agree. Last night when we finally got home at 7:30pm we were talking and reaffirmed our intention to go. We picked the acronym F2F to remind ourselves and each other of our plans whenever we are faced with tricky circumstances. F2F stands for “Focused to F***off”. Gotta love that!

So here’s to us F2F as soon as possible!
